Lead - Brand & Content Strategy

We are looking for a brand strategy leader to work closely with senior leadership to establish and execute our brand communication and content marketing strategy.

The ideal candidate will be a creative visionary with deep consumer understanding and extensive experience in product/service lifecycle management, driving brand awareness and profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Brand Strategy: Develop a comprehensive brand strategy and define the annual marketing roadmap, both online and offline, with a focus on becoming a category leader.

- Brand Custodian: Serve as the brand custodian for all communications and content, including internal, external, and social media, by creating a brand marketing playbook and guidelines.

- Content and Performance Analysis: Analyze key content metrics, develop audience insights, and build a content communication strategy across marketing channels.

- Content Optimization: Conduct content deep-dives and post-mortem analyses to identify areas for optimization and improvement.

- Market Analysis: Conduct analysis of key business drivers, trends, and performance indicators in partnership with creative and business teams.

- Creative Briefing: Brief external and in-house creative teams on content requirements, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.

- Consumer Research: Create a cadence for consumer and competition research, and track brand attributes and full-funnel criteria.

- Campaign Execution: Liaise with design and media agencies to brief on campaigns, monitor quality of execution, and ensure compliance with SLAs.

- Budget Management: Manage and control the brand portfolio budget, creating monthly, quarterly, and annual plans to ensure budget compliance.

- Brand Initiatives: Plan and execute branding initiatives, ATL and BTL activities, and identify opportunities to reach new market segments.

What We're Looking For:

- Education: Degree in Marketing or Business Administration; MBA preferred.

- Experience: At least 6 years of work experience in brand strategy, ideally in planned/high-involvement categories.

- Skills: Strong understanding of consumer journeys, e-commerce trends, and brand salience.

- Ability to balance creativity with analytics.

- Leadership: Prior experience leading a team and promoting a culture of teamwork across organizational boundaries.

- Must-Have: Customer-first approach, ownership mindset, and data-driven decision-making.

- Preferred: Candidates with experience as brand managers or brand strategy directors with top digital agencies/brands
