Analytics Lead - AVP

The Process Controls Director supports the efficient operations of the Merchandising team by leading the development and execution of analytical tools, merchandising operations reporting and ad hoc analyses for merchandising stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with strong communication skills to make results relevant to stakeholders.

Responsibility

- Act as consultant to Merchandising colleagues to articulate data requirements and determine an efficient approach to meet the reporting requirement

- Lead design and development of analysis tools to support reporting, business controls or special projects

- Develop and deliver presentations to communicate the reporting or tools developed by the department

- Develop controls to ensure compliance to agreed-upon merchandising standards and provide reporting to stakeholders

- Manage weekly reporting to Merchandising business on non-financial operating metrics and communicate results

- Proactively identify improvements to reporting to achieve goal of delivering simple, actionable reporting to the business

- Develop team Capabilities

- Manage Service KPIs and Metrics.

Skills :

- Post-graduation degree in an analytical field of study (eg. Finance, Statistics, Marketing)

- Superior analytical and problem solving skills

- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other departments and build strong working relationships

- Retail and/or merchandising/CPG industry 6+ years of relevant experience

- Experience leading and motivating teams

- Experience in using Statistical analytics models on programs such as SAS/R, Minitab, SPSS and conveying insights to business stake-holders
