About the Role: - We are seeking a dynamic and experienced AVP/VP - Business Growth to drive the growth and success of our B2B marketplace. - In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract, retain, and engage customers across India. - You will lead a high-performing team and oversee the entire customer lifecycle, from acquisition to post-sale support. Key Responsibilities: - Customer Acquisition: Develop and implement effective customer acquisition strategies, including digital marketing, partnerships, and sales initiatives.across all formats (General Trade, Modern Trade, Institutional sales) - Should have Managed FMCG and Comodoties as category or Marketplace P&L - Customer Retention: Foster strong customer relationships through exceptional service, loyalty programs, and personalized experiences. - Customer Growth: Identify opportunities to increase customer spend and drive revenue growth. - Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of experienced professionals, including Associate Directors, City Heads, Zonal Managers, and Trade Marketing specialists. - P&L Ownership: Assume full responsibility for the P&L of the customer growth function, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. - Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats. - Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics to inform strategic decisions and optimize customer growth initiatives. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with other departments (e.g., product, marketing, sales) to ensure seamless customer experiences. Qualifications and Experience: - Proven track record: Minimum 15+ years of experience in Sales and should manage multiple states and customer growth or related roles. - Team leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire high-performing teams. - P&L ownership: Successful experience in managing P&L and driving financial results. - Strategic thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic plans. - Excellent communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Data-driven approach: Proficiency in using data analytics to inform decision-making. Desired Skills: - Experience in e-commerce or marketplace platforms. - Knowledge of digital marketing and sales techniques. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
