Lead Architect - Internet of Things

Job Description : 

Role : 

Serve as the highest-level technical consultant to internal clients and technical management, acting in a strategic role in the development and maintenance of architectures for the Team Member Technology domain. Responsible for directing implementation of the architecture, delivering project architecture artifacts, recommending and defining solutions, reviewing and approving architectural impact designs.

Responsibilities :

Solution Architecture :

- Define and deliver the global Team Member experience through Service Excellence, product roadmaps, process improvement, and workforce strategy.

- Maximizing team member productivity by delivering the solutions they need on the devices they love

- Integrates electronic communication and collaboration platforms to offer the next generation of content collaboration and support solutions.

- Develop and maintains the enterprise device and mobility strategy as part of the EIT - Mobility First- initiative.

- Managing the scale and complexity of nearly 500,000 endpoints while balancing requests for innovation and easier access to Wells Fargo Information Resources while maintaining a more secure, efficient and service oriented ecosystem

- We hire and retain the best technology professionals to develop, deliver, maintain and support innovative solutions which maximize the value proposition of the technology provided to the Team Member

- Serve as the subject matter expert for defining and reviewing technical designs and solutions for the End User Services architecture and infrastructure environment.

- Plan, architect, design, and document end-user computing platforms, cloud-based solutions, core knowledge worker applications, and peripherals to improve services provided across team member enabling products and services.

- Create conceptual high level architecture for key technology initiatives within the Team Member Technologies space. Key initiatives include Collaboration - O365 (Skype, Live Meeting, TEAMS- ), Team Member Experience, End Point Device Strategy, and PC Lifecycle Management, Backbone EOL, Windows Analytics using Azure Log Analytics

- Collaborate with other architects, vendors, and technical SMEs within/outside the enterprise.

- Understand enabling components security, infrastructure, networking, platforms and technologies.

- Familiarity with IT development and delivery methodologies, manage all architecture activities through SDLC process.

Strategy and Innovation :

- Work with key stakeholders and senior leadership to define the vision and strategy, through collaboration with technical and business partners across the enterprise.

- Provide technical research to identify team member enabling products and services and bring innovative solutions to the global Team Member experience.

- Build strategic client computing roadmap for the enterprise, communicate and drive the implementation of its short-term and long-term objectives.

- Set the strategic architecture direction in the team member business domain for the organizarion,

IT Governance :

- Design technical architecture and standards that guide the selection of the right solutions and enable enterprise needs for scalability, reliability, performance, interoperability, security, mobility and total cost of ownership.

- Provide leadership and continuous improvement of standards to enable a customer focused, responsive approach to architecture.

- Engagement of third party hosted services - responsible for ensuring all externally hosted software and services are in compliance with required technology approvals and reviews.

- Experience developing roadmap and blueprints.
