A prominent global investment management firm specializing in hedge funds, private equity, and quantitative strategies, with its headquarters in New York City, company has expanded its global presence with offices in major financial centers, including London, Hong Kong, Kansas City, Silicon Valley , Hyderabad , Bangalore ,Gurugram is currently seeking a highly resourceful and motivated candidate to join Renewable Investments group in Hyderabad, India.

As the Lead Analyst/Principal Analyst - Tax Specialist, you will be a key player in their tax function, responsible for overseeing and managing tax compliance and planning for renewable projects located across multiple states in the U.S. and other corporate entities

You'll have the chance to collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry, apply cutting-edge technology, and make a significant impact in the world of finance.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage the tax function, handling tax compliance for renewable energy projects and corporate entities.

- Formulate, analyze, and implement tax strategies and finance management for direct and indirect taxes.

- Conduct tax modeling, accounting, management, and investor reporting, including partnership accounting, HLBV modeling, yield tracking, deferred taxation (ASC 740), and budget versus actual analysis.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize tax processes, workflows, and controls.

- Liaise with U.S. and Hyderabad-based team members, asset managers, treasury, tax team, external consultants, and tax authorities for various tax-related matters.

Qualifications:-

- Chartered Accountants / Certified Public Accountants with five to ten years of post-qualification work experience.

- Prior experience in the energy, real estate, or financial service sectors is advantageous.

- In-depth understanding of U.S. tax laws, assessments, and regulations.

- Proven track record of managing teams and building efficient processes and operations.

- Excellent leadership, judgment, and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently with limited direction and guidance.
