We are seeking a resourceful candidate to join the dynamic team of company in Hyderabad, India, as a Lead Analyst/Principal Analyst - Tax Specialist. In this role, you will be an integral part of our Renewable Energy Investments division, responsible for overseeing and managing the tax function. This includes tax compliance for renewable projects in multiple U.S. states, tax planning for transactions related to power projects, and cross-functional collaboration to formulate and implement tax strategy, compliance, and finance management.

Responsibilities:

- Manage tax compliance for renewable projects across multiple U.S. states and other corporate entities.

- Lead tax planning for transactions related to power projects within the portfolio.

- Collaborate cross-functionally to formulate, analyze, monitor, and implement tax strategy, compliance, and finance management.

- Engage in tax modeling, accounting, management, and investor reporting.

- Liaise with U.S. and Hyderabad-based teams, asset managers, treasury, tax team, external consultants, and tax authorities for tax-related matters.

- Work on initiatives to establish, standardize, optimize, and document tax processes, workflows, and controls.

- Chartered Accountant/Certified Public Accountant with 5-10 years of post-qualification experience.

- Prior experience in the energy, real estate, or financial service sectors is advantageous.

- Understanding of U.S. tax laws, assessments, and regulations.

- Proven track record of managing teams and building out processes and operations.

- Strong leadership, judgment, and organizational skills.

Excellent written and spoken communication skills; ability to work independently.
