Lead Analyst/Principal Analyst/Associate Director (Equity Research) Financial Research

About Company - Global recognized leader in Financial & Technology based firm with Offices in New York, Hong Kong, Hyderabad (India), Kansas City, London and Silicon Valley seeking resourceful candidates to join their Financial Research group.

Overview:

We are seeking dynamic individuals to join company's Financial Research group in India. The positions are available within our Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) and Fundamental Equities (FIG) teams. These teams play a crucial role in generating new growth ideas and providing strategic insights for enhancing decision-making processes.

Location: Hyderabad, Bengaluru, or Gurugram, India

Responsibilities:

- Conduct research on specific companies and subsectors within sectors such as Banking, FIG, Specialty Finance, Housing, and Commercial Real Estate (CRE).

- Collaborate with the front office team to develop and refine financial models, track news flows and sell-side research views, cover results, and prepare investment write-ups and presentations.

- Conduct in-depth benchmarking of valuation and operational metrics, sensitivity and scenario analysis.

- Attend management, sell-side, intermediary, and sector expert calls.

Requirements:

- Degree in finance or equivalent (Master of Business Administration/Chartered Financial Analyst/Chartered Accountant) with over 5 years of investment research experience in relevant sectors.

- Strong financial modeling and accounting skills.

- Experience in international markets, particularly the US and UK, is advantageous.

- Good understanding of equity markets, fundamental analysis, and valuations.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to interact effectively with trading desks and stakeholders.
