Marketing analytics - Lead Analyst

Looking for professionals with Marketing analytics, customer analytics/ Customer segmentation, statistical modeling, regression modeling, SAS experience with hands-on and work on project basis.

Purpose :

- The principle purpose of the Lead Analyst is to partner with the Facilities group and FP&A and GFO organizations to identify opportunities to optimize expenses through thoughtful analytical solutions and insights. The identified opportunities need to be implemented working closely with the business to drive direct bottom line impact to business

- This is accomplished utilizing advanced tools and methods leveraging multiple streams of data, i.e. financial, location, customer, engineering and facilities, equipment, work order, etc.

- This position is responsible for developing and implementing analytical best practices and overseeing methodology and deliverables of each project to ensure sound analytics and insights, determine additional research/analytics that may be needed to enhance the solution; and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project continuity and strategic alignment.

Functional Competencies :

Knowledge of Report Development Tools and Software :

- Advanced knowledge of report development tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, SAS, MicroStrategy/DART or other Business Intelligence reporting tools, SQL query writing, or other business reporting software), Ability to use multiple tools to build sophisticated reports.

Analytical Thinking :

- Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis and the ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve the problems in the best interest of the business, e.g. SAS, R, APT, etc.

Financial Analysis : Knowledge of and ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.

Hypothesis Testing : Builds and/or validates recommendations based on sound methodology, data gathering, and data analysis, uses data driven conclusions and decisions to provide solutions.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Master's Degree in Statistics, Analytics, Marketing, Economics, Math or Business with 7+ years experience in analytical role

- Minimum 1 year experience supporting a retailer would be a plus

- Experience working with analytical tools like SAS, SPSS, R, etc.

- Experience working with multiple stakeholders across locations

- Experience leading people directly or indirectly
