Job Title: Lead Analyst (Manager), Risk Analytics and Ratings Review

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

Work Experience: 5 to 7 years

Educational Qualification: MBA from a top-tier B-school (preferred) or a high-ranking CA

About the Role:

As a Lead Analyst in the Risk Analytics and Ratings Review (RARR) team, you will play a pivotal role in driving analytical excellence, evaluating strategic risks, and enhancing business resilience. The RARR team focuses on analytical quality, business risk, and strategic risk assessment. Your insights and contributions will directly impact key decisions made by senior management and Board of Directors.

About the RARR Team:

The RARR team is instrumental in:

Conducting thematic interventions to help management and the Board understand and mitigate emerging risks.

Ensuring analytical quality assurance for Ratings firm, including comprehensive reviews of methodologies, criteria, and rating processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Risk Analysis and Strategic Initiatives:

- Contribute to projects assessing strategic risks in various domains, such as Generative AI and flagship product business value.

- Develop actionable insights and recommendations to inform business strategy and risk management.

Analytical Quality and Assurance:

- Critically review credit analysis reports, methodologies, and criteria to derive insights that enhance analytical rigor and quality.

- Identify improvement areas for analytical frameworks in partnership with business teams.

- Executive Communication

Key Skills and Attributes:

- Advanced analytical skills with an ability to connect the dots and see the bigger picture.

- Expertise in credit ratings, risk analysis, or business strategy.

- Strong logical thinking, attention to detail, and written communication skills.

- Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders across functions and levels.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in a top-tier consulting firm, credit rating agency, or corporate role with a focus on analytics, strategy, or risk management.
