Lead Analyst (5+ Equity Research)

Job Summary

- Lead analyst with complete ownership of writing initiation of coverage reports, modeling and financial analysis.

Job Description The job includes:

- Analysts will be expected to prepare final-form investment reports with defensible thesis for companies in the various US sectors. Analysts need to be open in covering companies across different sectors.

- The analyst will have an associate to help with model, data gathering and similar details.

- One initiation report is expected each month. Role does not involve any maintenance research (earning and event updates).

- Analysts work under minimal supervision.

Currently in sell side/buy side/PE/VC experience with at least 4 years of sell side experience

Key skills

- Good command over written English

- Equity research experience with strong modeling skills

- Ability to understand business models and key company drivers

- Solid understanding of valuation framework

- Analyst must demonstrate financial acumen and analytical rigor. Models and detailed scenario analysis required to substantiate thesis.

- All reports have tight deadlines and candidates should be able to handle pressure

- Excellent communication skills to understand specific client requirements

- MBA (top tier), CFA (US), CA (rank holder)

- US/front-end experience preferred
