Your primary job responsibilities will be to manage procurement process, sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. The role involves collaborating with various departments to understand their procurement needs, researching potential suppliers, evaluating proposals, and selecting the best vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

- Source suppliers from the market based on the need.

- Review purchase requisitions and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing.

- Release purchase order, work contract & service agreements.

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and provide procurement support and guidance.

- Conduct market research to identify trends, potential suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities.

- Evaluate supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise.

- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in procurement.

- Prepare reports and analyze procurement data to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

- Maintain policy and regulatory compliance

Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

As a minimum requirement you'll have:

- A degree or equivalent in a commercial or business field.

- Deep experience of procurement

- Experience of working with senior business leaders

- A track record in delivering and leading successful category plans, delivering tangible savings and other non-financial benefits

- The ability to project manage, achieving time and budgetary constraints

- Experience of working in a regulated business environment, preferably Financial Services.

- Proven experience as a procurement specialist or in a similar role, preferably in the Indian market.

- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Knowledge of procurement processes, including sourcing, supplier evaluation, and contract management.

- Familiarity with procurement software and tools.

- Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.

- Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.
