Lead - Accounts & Treasury - FMCG

We are hiring for the position of Lead- Accounts & Treasury which is a DGM/GM level role.

This person will head a team of Senior Managers and Managers within the organization, with potential for tremendous growth within the organization

Our client is a crowd favorite brand, with 50+ stores across 6+ cities, They started half a decade ago, and have scaled up quickly, and are backed by eminent investors

Key Responsibilities:

1. To ensure integrity and high quality of books and records to meet best-practice financial reporting that caters both internal and external requirements

2. Adherence to Compliance in all accounting practices and processes.

3. Complete the monthly / quarterly / yearly closing and reporting, for all stakeholders as per the scheduled timeline

4. Manage the statutory auditors, outsourcing partners and other relevant stakeholders

5. Improve efficiency in executing the various accounting processes, thereby contributing to productivity

6. Lead, manage, mentor the team; create talent pipelines; identify development needs for individual team members

7. Responsible for cash management activities including cash flow forecast

8. Ensure bank accounts management including appropriate documentation, opening / closure of bank accounts

9. Responsible for treasury related internal controls and legal compliances

Ideal Candidate:

1. CA or MBA Finance with at least 6 years of relevant experience handling Accounting and treasury based roles

2. Strong domain knowledge and solid foundation of bookkeeping, accounting & treasury functions

3. Have prior experience working with senior stakeholder management

4. FMCG background will be highly preferred
