Lead - Accounting - Manufacturing Firm

Key Responsibilities :

- Serve as the key point of contact with external auditors & internal auditors to ensure accuracy and compliance with Ind-AS and IFRS.

- Ensure an accurate and timely month end close

- Monthly book closing activities and preparing monthly Profitability statement and balance sheet

- Worked in a manufacturing company & finalized financial statement for at least one year

- Monthly review - AR, AP, FA and GL

- Maintain balance sheet schedules by reconciling these accounts with the general ledger on a regular basis and analyzing any variances

- Support Business Unit Heads with monthly reviews of costs, reporting any fluctuations and variances against budget

- Preparing various MIS reports as per the business requirement

- Improve existing financial controls and assist in standardizing them

- Ensure proper accounting policies and principles are followed in accordance with IFRS and Ind-AS

- Any other ad hoc tasks as required

Critical requirements for the role :

- Graduate and Qualified Chartered Accountant with strong technical knowledge of IND-AS and IFRS with atleast 4 years post qualification experience

Preferred requirements:

- Experience in a Big Four (Assurance)

- Experience working in global manufacturing organizations

- Familiarity with SAP ERP
