Category Head - Smartphones - Lava International Ltd
To lead Smartphones product portfolio ensuring the achievement of topline and bottom-line targets by doing the following key activities
1. Consumer Understanding
- a. Setting processes of consumer understanding, Purchase behavior understanding & consumer interaction through FGDs, consumer surveys, market visits etc.
- b. Analyzing Primary and Secondary research data for drawing action-points for products and planning new research concepts to discover intrinsic needs of customers
2. Product Strategy
- a. Business model planning leading to annual operating plan for the organization
- b. Defining a product portfolio roadmap basis consumer and competition understanding and implementation of supplier strategy basis key relevant parameters
- c. Planning to deliver topline and bottom-line objectives of the company and leading the team to deliver the above objectives
3. Product Planning
- a. Planning the timelines of product launches; Cost vs value analysis for recommending detailed product specification
- b. Understanding supply ecosystem to recommend right components for device and planning the detailed GTM to deliver the objectives of the company
4. Product Lifecycle Management
- a. Analyzing sales, target market, consumers & industry and understanding sales trend and market response of LAVA models vs. competition
- b. Proposing timeline of phasing out of running models based on above understanding and launching new models based on above understanding
- c. Proposing extension of life of running products through interventions
5. Product Operation Planning
- a. Inventory Planning & management and Inventory ageing management and planning the intervention in coordination with sales team
b. Driving product placement in coordination with sales team and analyzing competition sales and recommending the right actions basis same
