To assist Product Manager in managing his Product Portfolio & achievement of periodic revenue targets by doing the following key activities:  1. Consumer Understanding  a.Understanding consumer needs to arrive at the right product proposition  b.Regular consumer interaction through FGDs, consumer surveys, market visits etc.   2. Technology understanding  a.Understanding present and future technology solutions to best serve customer needs  b.Embracing new technology to deliver compelling product proposition  c.Deep understanding of supply side ecosystem   3. Portfolio Planning  a.Work closely with the product manager in planning the product mix and mapping the needs of the customers  b.Coordination with multifunctional team (including China team) to ensure timely and quality product launch  c.Coordination with Project Management & Product Development team for timely launch as per defined experience parameters   d.Incorporate learning from after-sales and market feedback for future launches   4. Forecasting portfolio sales for right inventory planning   a.Regular market visits to gauge trends basis discussion with retailers/distributors/consumers   b.Regular trend analysis basis coordination with sales (other multifunctional) team   c.Regular trackers/data analysis to indicate/highlight trends   5. Leverage 4P's of marketing to evaluate and strategically influence the portfolio   6. Independently lead sub projects with guidance of Product Manager  Desired Skills and Competencies  1.
