Lapis India Capital, with offices in Mumbai, is an investment management/advisory firm with primary focus on real estate investing. Lapis provides non-binding real estate investment advisory services to global institutional investors through club/commingled and discretionary funds.

Primary Role And Responsibilities:

We are looking to hire an Analyst/ Associate for our Real Estate Team. The candidate would be involved with:

- Business development work which would involve researching real estate strategies, preparation of pitch books, financial models, PPM, etc.

- Working closely with CEO and prepare marketing materials for new fund raise

- Analysis and understanding of historical data to identify new business opportunities

- Investment opportunities evaluation in various sectors of real estate

- Monitoring industry trends, micro-markets, real estate segments;

Qualifications And Skills:

- Undergraduate/Post-Graduate (CA/MBA) from a reputed college;

- About 2 years of post-qualification industry experience in India with a top tier firm (Mckinsey, GS, JP Morgan including their global support centres, etc);

- Articulate with good communication and drafting skills and highly effective in English;

- Passion to learn, willing to work in a small entrepreneurial team;

- Should be self-motivated, accurate, proactive, resourceful, organised, with high ethical standards and integrity, able to prioritize effectively to meet deadlines, achieve results;

- Should have a long-term approach to business career;

Location: Role will be located in Mumbai, India. Prospective candidates already based in Mumbai would be given preference.
