Associate - Real Estate Asset Management

Primary Roles And Responsibilities :

We are looking to hire an Associate for our Real Estate Team. The candidate would be :

- Responsible for the management of one or more of the underlying real estate investments

- Responsible for all aspects of the asset management including preparing business plans, tracking day-to-day developments/progress, protecting contractual rights, monetization

- Keeping track of contractual rights, reviewing investment documents, MIS statements/reports, financial statements

- Assisting in fund reporting, undertaking valuations, financial analysis

- Assisting in marketing, tax, accounting and legal aspects of the underlying investment

- Handling relationship with joint venture partners

- Monitoring industry trends, micro-markets, real estate segments

Qualifications And Skills :

- Graduate (Engineering/CA/MBA) from any reputed college

- About 5 years of post-qualification relevant real estate/property experience in India

- Articulate with good communication and drafting skills and highly effective in English

- Passion to learn, willing to work in a growing small entrepreneurial team

- Should be self-motivated, accurate, proactive, resourceful, organised, with high ethical standards and integrity, able to prioritize effectively to meet deadlines, achieve results

- Should have a long-term approach to business career

About Lapis India Capital :

Lapis India Capital, with offices in Mumbai, has two main businesses :

i. Providing non-binding real estate investment advisory services to global institutional investors, club/commingled, discretionary funds with respect to opportunistic investments in Indian real estate.; and

ii. Providing portfolio management services to clients seeking to invest in public equities in India.

Location : Role will be located in Mumbai, India. Prospective candidates already based in Mumbai would be given preference.
