Landmark Group - Software Architect - Magento

We are hiring at multiple positions in Magento starting from Magento Architect, Lead to Frontend and Backend Developers.

Job Responsibilities

- Design, Build, test and deploy cutting edge solutions at scale, impacting millions of customers and directly impacting top line by generating several millions of dollars of revenue.

- Engaging with product management to take the product vision or business problem to the tech definition, implementation and successful deployment.

- Responsible for system analysis, design and architecture for the entire product/platform handling millions of transactions, Refactoring both backend and frontend layer to make it more resilient.

- Responsible for ensuring nonfunctional attributes e.g. scalability, availability, serviceability, usability and practical aspects during the various phases of development.

- Defining project scope, deliverables, dependencies, resources, timeline and budget, making sure projects stay within delivery timeline in a full project life cycle, Establishing architectural and development standards around eCommerce platforms

- Outlining project within Project Management System, develop project technology strategy by understanding key objectives, mapping product requirements, articulating solution risks and barriers; recommend project approaches

- Putting together technical write-up for programming features of the site and ensuring team members understand deliverables and have task lists, Ensures documentations and reports are complete, current and stored appropriately

- Responsible for technology choices and tool selection keeping short and long-term interest

- Works closely with QA team to determine testing requirements to ensure full coverage and the best quality of product

- Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity, Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates.

- While completing all of the above duties you must maintain excellent communication with the clients while managing their expectations

- You will accomplish this mission by strategically designing, developing, and implementing technology models worthy enough to operate of enterprise-level business applications.

Qualification:

- Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering

- 9+ Years of experience in technical design, software development and architecture at the backend side involving scalable and available platform

- 5-7+ years of hands on experience in working on Open Source Technologies including PHP, Magento, MySQL database and NoSQL Database. Magento Certification is a plus

- Ability to be adapt to the startup culture, handle multiple competing priorities, meet deadlines, manage risk, and troubleshoot problems.

- Experience with 5+ Magento implementations

- Expert in all Magento functional modules

- Expert in Magento technical architecture concepts like multi-channel architecture, data modeling, Data Transfer and integration.

- Expert in Magento Task management (time based/ Event based), internationalization/ localization/ personalization concepts.

- A very good understanding on event-driven and SOA architectures and web services

- Good knowledge in security and identity management

- Expert in EIP (Enterprise Integration Patterns) and Enterprise Service Bus solutions

- Rich Internet Application using AJAX/JQuery

- A good knowledge in integration with Web content management systems

- Expert in commerce concepts like supply chain, warehousing, logistics management, marketing, CRM

- Experience in defining solutions in component based architectures and process/rule-driven solutions.

- Defining UML for requirements definition and for systems design.

- Incremental development/ refactoring approaches.

- Excellent Code version control and conflict management capabilities with Git/ SVN

- Excellent build/ release/ deployment (full stack build vs incremental) management capabilities

- Great working knowledge in Jenkins, Maven, Ant like build & deployment (continuous integration) tools

- Expert in Tomcat, Spring TC, and JBoss architecture and configuration management

- Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices, Knowledge of data management, database concepts, database-driven Web applications

- Ability to use analytic data and user testing to inform design decision

- Excellent testing/ QA skills, Design thinking and innovation

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, such as meeting facilitation, presentation and documentation
