Job Description
As a Senior Portfolio Manager, you will be part of a team focused on picking the right investments Globally. You need to be an independent thinker who thrives on challenges. We are looking for someone who shares the same passion, interest, and perspective of fundamentals-based long-term investing. A solid understanding of investment theory, economics, equity, fixed income, and alternative asset classes is important. You will contribute to the leadership of the team and have an active and important role in the team's results. You will be involved with the team on a daily basis in discussing specific investment opportunities, portfolio construction, risk management, and overall asset allocation.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the asset allocation strategy within the investment portfolio.
- Consistently participate in and monitor the execution of the investment process and ensure portfolio construction is aligned with the process and asset allocation outlook of the team.
- Manage the portfolio risk profile in line with the overall investment strategy.
- Lead and mentor members of the research team and help ensure a productive allocation of the team's resources
- Provide inputs on future investment strategy.
- Provide analytical and fundamental investment support to the team and manage or co-manage investment mandates
- Participate in presentations to and discussions with the investment committee.
Desired Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 15 years- direct experience in asset management and research functions.
- Experience in fundamental investment analysis, modeling, and valuation for assessing asset classes and securities.
- Demonstrated experience in asset allocation and portfolio construction.
- Experience in managing a multi-asset class strategy would be an asset.
- Experience leading an investment team or the desire to lead an investment team in the future.
- Polished and effective presentation skills.
- Must be able to articulate investment strategies to fellow team members and the investment committee.
Education
CA, CFA, Post Graduate in finance or another relevant field
Language
English- Fluent (Read, write, and speak)
Job Experience
Over 15 years of relevant professional work experience (with a proven track record in investing).
Technology
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint), Bloomberg / FactSet.
Others
- Ability to engage and communicate with senior leaders.
- The ability to work with and influence managers at all levels.
- Results oriented with excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- The ability to coach and develop others.
