Position Objective
Responsible to deliver end-to-end strategic projects with teams addressing a broad range of business-critical problems for Landmark Group as per the mandate received from the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO)
Responsibilities
'Landmark Group is one of the largest retail conglomerates with presence across the Middle East, Africa, Indian Subcontinent, and South East Asia. Landmark Group has a diverse portfolio of retail and hospitality brands. Core brands (Babyshop, Splash, Max, Home Centre, Lifestyle, Shoemart) have top of the mind brand recall in their respective markets.
Corporate Strategy team drives strategy development and large scale business transformation programs across businesses and geographies for the Group, along with the growth agenda for the group (new markets, new businesses).
Key responsibilities include
- Work under the guidance of a DGM/ CSO on projects relevant for board members, CXO's of concepts within Landmark Group, on varied strategic and operational topics
- Independently manage/ liaise with a cross-functional teams on a broad range of projects/ topics taking end of end ownership of defining the problem, identifying the key issues/ developing hypothesis, developing recommendations and aligning with senior stakeholders including Directors/ CEO's
- Mentor/ Support Career Progression and development of junior consultants
- Support/ Lead recruitment of talent to the group and Corporate Strategy team
- Design and develop senior management presentations
- Ensure timeliness and quality of deliverables
Qualification & Skills
An ideal candidate for this role should be/have -
- Master of Business Administration (Finance and Strategy preferred) or advanced degree in Financial analysis from a top tier institute
- Goal oriented self-starter, willing to work with minimal supervision and guidance
- Ability to work with and manage CXO level stakeholders, especially in a high growth environment
- Exceptional analytical skills and commercial acumen to understand key drivers of business, see through the numbers and come up with valuable insights
- Flexibility to adapt to a variety of different engagement types, working hours and work environments and locations
- Strong communication skills visible in independent writing, conversation and presentations
- Strong MS Office - presentation, excel modelling skills; knowledge of other analytical tools such as Qlikview, Tableau will be a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Open to Travel as required for different projects

Experience
4-6 years of post-MBA work experience in any or all the following areas:
- Strategy and / or Operations experience with a top tier Management Consulting firm
- Strategy or Corporate Planning or performance improvement in a retail environment
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Ecommerce/ Retail sector (particularly fashion and home) with exposure to any or all the following areas:
- Demand forecasting
- Merchandise planning
- Supply chain management/ Order fulfillment
- Buying and pricing
- Retail Operations
- Digital/ Performance Marketing including growth
