Role
Landmark group is one of the largest and fastest growing retail organization in Middle East, Africa and Indian Subcontinent. The group operates over 2000 outlets across 55 own and franchise brands in the area of Retail, hospitality and malls. As the Senior Manager in Analytics Centre of Excellence, you will engage with CXO level stakeholders from multiple brands within Landmark group to identify growth areas and develop analytical solutions (Ex. Merchandising, Marketing, Supply chain, Pricing, Campaigns etc.) for customer and revenue growth. You will be also working with the Head of analytics and CEOs / COOs / CFOs / Head of Marketing, Retail and Planning managers of various business units to set up annual targets and develop plans.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with CXO's / Head of Retail / Head of Marketing of various brands to understand business issues, focus areas and growth factors; and translate into analytical initiatives.
- Lead solution design on key engagements and offerings. Analyze data to evaluate existing decisions framework and apply analytical techniques to discover meaningful patterns
- Manage concurrent projects across brands, territories and analytical service offering while leading project teams in UAE and India. Create an impact on business while ensuring quality, timeliness and accuracy of the output
- Develop sophisticated & innovative analytical solutions to expand the capabilities of Analytics center of excellence
- Test recommended solutions in appropriate pilot areas and improve the solutions based on learnings from pilots
- Educate senior stakeholders on various analytical solutions and their successes, and influence to adopt analytical solutions
- Partner with multiple brand and lead key work streams such as Customer insights, Loyalty analytics, Pricing, demand forecasting and Inventory management. Be a consultant to CXOs
- Build engaging partnerships with functional leaders and identify business opportunities for future analytics utilization
- Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging methodologies and continually improve skillset
- Contribute to practice development through training, knowledge sharing, helping develop analytical assets
Qualification & Skills
- Master's degree in any quantitative discipline or MBA. Candidates from Statistics or Operations Research background from ISI/IIT will be preferred.
- Strong drive and passion to work in a start-up kind of environment
- Demonstrated experience of delivering business impact through analytics in Retail industry
- Expertise in analytical tools such as SAS/R/SQL/ or python
- Expertise in analytical techniques such as Linear Regression, Cluster analysis, Market Basket analysis, Decision Tress, Linear Optimization etc.
- Strong MS office skills and data visualization competence
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in high pressure environment
- Open to Travel on need basis (up to 20%)
Experience
- 9-12 years of analytics experience in Retail/CPG industry covering at least 2 of the below mentioned areas:
- Merchandising analytics
- Marketing/ Loyalty analytics
- Supply Chain Analytics
- Store/Warehouse operations analytics
- Web Analytics
- Proven experience in delivering analytical solutions within mid to large size project teams
- Experience of working with CXO levels stakeholder to incubate analytics and deliver value
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate data insights into meaningful business recommendations
- Experience in implementing analytical solutions in retail operational systems
