Landmark Group - Planning Manager - Supply Chain

Job Description :

- The Supply Planner role ensures that the quantity intake plan is balanced to meet organization constraints at a weekly level and ensures that merchandise planners create a good intake balance which can be implemented as per the overall merchandise life cycle plan and strategy

- The Supply Planner will make an intake plan at an item level and work backwards from in store launch date to vendor production start date and publish key milestone dates for every option. He will update necessary information in the PLM tool

- The Supply Planner engages with the vendors and logistics team to ensure deliveries happen as per intake plan. Communicating exceptions to production and delivery plans and reviewing remediation plans with key individuals

- The Supply Planner has a good understanding and will build knowledge of vendors production facilities, capacities, constraints and ability to deliver as per plan and time

KRAs :

- Creates and manages Item Master - Owns Master data

- Communicate to vendor the inbound planning milestones as soon as option is finalized basis in store launch date

- Issue and Manage purchase orders to ensure inbound plans are met and react to unforeseen constraints. Create and publish weekly inbound plan by weeks to meet MDC constraints

- Collaborate with vendors in a weekly manner to review vendor scorecards and review delivery plans

- Conduct weekly SNOPs with logistics, DC team, planners to publish variances, Record action items and ensure systems are updated for item master and PO updates for organization visibility, especially SCM

- Create reporting and metrics for inbound flows into DC

- Maintain relevant Master parameters in ERP related to vendor, capacity, lead times, minimums and other constraints

- OTIF

- Deviation to Inbound Planned date at various nodes

- Information updates and accuracy in SNOP portal by vendors and various supply nodes

Skill Sets :

- 5+ years supply chain, production experience

- Has a good understanding of manufacturing, logistics and DC operations

- Experience with retail ERPs, material management applications

- Experience in and/or exposure to S&OP processes and procedures, or supply planning

- Strong analytical, communication skills and excel skills

- Strong individual who can manage pressure situations and good negotiation skills
