Position Summary :  This position will be responsible for participating in internal audit activities for Defined business verticals. This position is also required to co-ordinate with all process owners across these verticals ensuring the existence of suitable control environment.   Job Responsibilities :  Planning and execution of Internal Audit Reviews :  - Participating in process/function/stores audit and communicating with respective process/region/stores head on audit observations   - Communicating with respective process owners in these verticals and following up for the status of actions planned to be completed  - Understanding IFC controls to be tested and testing the same to analyse the effectiveness   - Document, evaluate and test manual and automated systems and controls to determine their existence, adequacy, effectiveness and continuity ensuring   - Effectiveness and efficiency of the operations  - Compliance with policies, procedures and regulations  - Safeguarding of assets  - Reliability and integrity of information;  - Adequacy of training and audit tools within the organization;  - Advises to process owners on ways and means to strengthen the control environment  - Takes up responsibility to bring new ideas to enhance the effectiveness of internal audit process  - Conducts ad hoc requests and fraud investigations as requested by Management  - Ensures engagements are undertaken and performed with proficiency and due professional care   - Provides input towards efficiency   Discussion and Report writing :  - Discusses the audit observations with regional/local management in light of risks involved  - Attends monthly/quarterly process meetings with process owners  - Reviews the audit work executed by other team members  - Conduct status meeting and close meeting with process owners or their superiors  - Communicate High Risk Issues immediately to the respective stakeholders  - Understands and articulates management actions for the issues identified   - Ensures that all deliverables pertaining to the review are completed accurately and timely  Other :  - Develops effective relations with process owners, other Group Auditors and other stakeholders  - Develops thorough knowledge of the selected process and   - Works within the accountability and responsibility parameters established for the department  - Ensures that team, if any, allocated to him/her is motivated and result-oriented  Desired Candidate Profile :  - Preferably a Chartered Accountant with 6-8 years of post-qualification experience in Internal Audit/Business Process Re-Engineering/Risk Management/Assurance/Quality   - Worked on information systems general and application controls  - Knows and applies risk management concepts in internal audit activities  - Desirable to have the knowledge of SOX and COSO concepts  - Has been exposed to IT controls in an integrated ERP environment  - Well developed and demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
