Landmark Group - Logistics Executive

ROLE SYNOPSIS

Directs the daily activities of the distribution function, activities include shipping, receiving, inventory control, etc., Should have strong knowledge in Export / Import clearance, Freight control, Logistics vendor management etc., Responsible for tracking relevant metrics and drive action items based on results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Planning & Scheduling of Import/Export consignments

- Capacity planning for all Resources - Immediate & Long term infrastructure planning.

- Import/Export Customs/Intl Trade procedures. Interface with Customs/ports/Free zones/Chamber & other govt bodies

- Warehouse management - Processes/Productivity improvements & Implementation

- Inventory management & ageing inventory handling

- Negotiation/Purchase of Consumables & Capital equipment

- Responsibility & accountability for all supply chain KPI's on productivity, costs & lead times - Warehouse operations & Documentation Turnaround

- Monthly report/MIS generation of all warehouse/supply chain KPI's (End to End Supply Chain )

- Manpower & Materials Handling Equipment Allocation, management & planning

- Maintenance of warehouse material handling equipment, coordination with the service providers for Maintenance

- Warehouse Cost controls

- Process Improvement projects.

MUST HAVES

1. Good Analytical Skills

2. Must be MBA from any premium B school.

3. Strong process mapping and ensuring the new changes are implemented to improve the overall performance of the facility.

4. IT proficient, Proficient in IT Applications like WMS, Web Portals

5. Min 1-4 Yrs. Of experience in FMCG / Retail Sectors.
