Roles and responsibilities :
- Plan the overall strategy of the category responsible for, driving business growth and achieving volume and revenue targets for the category
- Understand the category in-depth and research the product/services basis the need of the customers and market analysis
- Analyze category data (financial/operational/retail transaction), identify root causes of problems, and draw actionable business insights
- Develop a key hypothesis, test and validate with fact-based data-driven analysis
- Recommend solution ideas, helping drive clarity of thoughts amidst ambiguous situations
- Support function head and team members in developing detailed go-forward strategies or performance improvement plans
- Build excel models and effective presentations to communicate the recommendations/solutions
- Develop a data-based framework to build the right offer for all customer segments
- Ensure timeliness and quality of deliverable
- Present insights and conclusions confidently and meaningfully to function head and senior management
- Drive implementation of business-critical initiatives, regular progress reviews, tracking, and reporting of business benefits/impact delivered
Qualification :
- B Tech / Dual Degree from IIT, NIT, NSIT or DTU
- Experience in eCommerce preferable
- Sound analytical skills, ideally well conversant in excel modeling
- Drive to take on challenging assignments, and excel in a high-performance environment
- Sound commercial acumen and strong analytical and problem-solving skills i.e. should be able to understand key underlying drivers of the business, see through the numbers, and come up with actionable insights
- Strong communication skills visible in presentations, written, and verbal communications
- Flexibility to adapt to a variety of engagement types, working hours, work environment, and at times locations
- Ability to effectively and independently engage with the Senior Management stakeholders
- Excellent Team Player
