This is an opportunity to work in a German based asset management company with AUM of $300+ mn which invests across most asset classes and sectors globally. The role involves working in collaboration with a Team of Equity Analysts to support in all aspects of the management of equity portfolios.

Job Description :

- Building and updating industry domain knowledge pertaining to portfolio companies Industry Analysis.

- Prepare initial research reports on different stocks.

- Attend conference calls and write quarterly reports.

- Regularly communicating with the Equity Research Team and the Portfolio Manager on project updates and be up-to-date with (sub-)sector happenings

- Monitor the latest news/developments on the underlying stocks in the portfolio and evaluate the impacts on the stocks using qualitative and quantitative method. Also monitor macroeconomic news.

Skills required :

- Strong financial and accounting concepts

- Strong team player and willingness to take on challenges

Candidate should have at least one of the following educational qualifications :

i. Pursuing CFA

ii. Bachelor's degree in accounting/economics

iii. Demonstrable passion of Equity Research/Investing.

- Candidates with prior internship experiences are preferred. Freshers are welcome too. Candidates should have the ability to work hard, absorb and synthesize new information quickly.

- Microsoft office skills (Excel, Word) are must.

- The job requires excellent verbal, written and communication skills along with strong organizational skills and ability to work well in an international team environment.
