Lab Manager - Quality Control - Manufacturing/FMCG

We have a suitable opportunity in the Industrial Quality division at our Baddi Plant for the Manager - Quality (QC) position. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products produced by the plant are compliant with Group standards and specifications. It would help if you had 10-plus years of experience with Manufacturing/FMCG global MNCs in a core operations role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- To carry out rigorously, within the plant quality department, quality control testing of the products manufactured, concerning the quality system of the Group

- To carry out and record controls of components related to the organization of the quality service and contribute to optimize control testing activities

- To take part in the quality operations related to a launch (validation of the garbs of defect, follow-up of the first productions)

- To update the quality procedures according to the evolutions of the standards, policies or modes of organization, tools and equipment

- To bring proposals for the improvement of the rules of Quality/Safety/Hygiene of the production process during meetings, working groups or transversal projects

- Manage a team of lab chemists responsible for carrying out quality control of products (raw materials, packaging components, bulk products, finished goods) using appropriate methods and specifications manufactured in the plant and at subcontractor under plant responsibility.

- To search for efficiency in his/her domain and implement quality as a pillar of operational excellence. - Guarantee the compliance of products and production conditions with the regulatory requirements.

- Ensure records meet the relevant standards (authorization, validation, results and decisions)
