Senior Associate - Accounting Operations

Job Description:

- Recording Transactions: Maintain accurate records of financial transactions including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.

- General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the general ledger by posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accuracy of financial data.

- Year-end Accounts and Tax Preparation Support: Work with accountants to gather necessary financial information and documentation for year-end accounts production and tax return preparation.

- Software Proficiency: Use accounting software (predominantly VT and on occasion QuickBooks and Xero) proficiently to perform bookkeeping tasks efficiently.

- Communication: Liaise with colleagues to clarify bookkeeping matters and resolve discrepancies.

- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities in a timely manner.

Software Proficiency: Use accounting software (predominantly VT and occasion QuickBooks and Xero) proficiently to perform bookkeeping tasks efficiently.

Expertise you bring:

Qualifications: B.Com /M. Com/ CA- Inter

Proven impact: 3-6 years of experience in accounting outsourcing industry. UK Accounting BPO experience is preferred.
