Would you like to be a part of the adventure? - We have a suitable opportunity in the Supply Chain division for the position of Supply Planner. - In this role, the Supply Planner is responsible for generating procurement plans of Finished Goods, Samples and Testers for respective sources of procurement considering the forecast, stock covers and safety stock. - The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years professional experience with FMCG / Pharma / Retail industry. The location of the job will be Mumbai HO. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure the smooth execution of the planning process in order to guarantee the availability of the product while optimizing customer service and cost and while improving the quality of stocks. - Build the Supply plan of the entity based on the validated sales forecasts and supply/ procurement parameters. - Determine the stock and supply parameters according to the objectives of service rate, costs and global targeted stock. - Manage global monthly sales forecast process and the sales forecast quality - Build Baseline forecast & challenge and consolidate the promotions and new launch forecast projected by marketing and commercial planning teams - Ensure the global sales forecast consistency, through the building of a consensus between commercial forecasts, the financial trend and sales history. Independently animate the Pre-S&OP meetings - Manage the replenishment process through the evaluation of the shortage risks and by communicating priorities to the MSL. - Manage stock levels in country in accordance with the objectives set and compute obsoletes and slow movers. Define and implement action plans. - Define and follow the Key Performance Indicators (out of stock, service rate, stock, forecast accuracy, bias) and communicate them internally and to the MSL. - Build the budgeted stock equation according to the stock and supply parameters. - Contribute to the improvement of the processes and information systems related to his/her activity and be the referent of his/her job. - To build solid understanding of our Supply Chain structure and functioning during the first assignment within LOréal. - Responsible to manage the communication between key stakeholders in assessing the supply risks/gaps and opportunities as a part of the pre-S&OP process - Participate in projects impacting Supply Chain optimizations - Improve flexibility, reactivity and reliability in the respective work streams Key Competencies: - Make it happen with operational excellence and agility - Ability to influence several stakeholders in Commercial, marketing, finance and Physical execution - Anticipate risks, issues and opportunities - Continuous improvement mindset - Customer centricity Key Relationships: - Internal Division Marketing, Commercial, Order management teams, Warehouse Operation Team, Transport team, Factory and S&OP team, Finance teams.
