- You will be responsible for technology strategy, setting priorities, managing resources and assuring on-time delivery in e-Commerce platform with a goal of almost zero defects

- Accountable to create and communicate a vision, strategy, program and operating model for IT that differentiates our e-Commerce (B2B & B2C) services from competitors and underpins its ambitions and objectives

- Collaborate with business leaders on the development of IT programs to support and enable business lines, provide insight into the innovative use of existing and emerging technologies to accelerate growth of the business

- Ensure stability and security of operational systems and processes. Support the continuity of the activities. Meet requirements for compliance of internal policies and external regulations (Information Security, Data Privacy, etc.)

- Manage the IT risk profile for applications, IT services and projects

- Implement and maintain robust best practice IT governance

- Responsible for any technology initiatives for enabling better customer service

- Accountable for managing & maintaining the entire stack of e-Commerce and related IT components. Would be continuously developing/exploring new technology avenues.

- Agree annual financial plan, monitor performance and achievement of plan

- Accountable for IT service delivery ensuring business stakeholders are up-to-date with project progress, performance is measured and issues are addressed

- Establish clear accountability and objectives for self and direct reports including stretch and coach to maximize performance and potential

- You and your team are in charge of the daily operations and development of the B2C & B2B platforms. Therefore, you ensure a flawless 24/7 availability of the systems, investigate incidents, solve problems and oversee several projects, timelines and releases

- In difficult or urgent situations, you support your team hands on by providing guidance, knowledge and support.

- You will enjoy high visibility in this role, as you will be significantly responsible for the company's success

The Successful Applicant :

- Excellent university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related engineering fields

- Experience in leading complex e-Commerce projects and teams using agile methodologies

- Experience with large scale online business

- Passion for creating lean, target oriented IT systems. Very good problem solving skills and a 'can do' attitude. Enthusiasm and ability to mentor less experienced team members.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills and entrepreneurial personality

- Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
