Product Managers play a pivotal role in leveraging technology for providing an exceptional customer experience. With the analytical and problem-solving mindset, they get deeper into the function/problem space, work with stakeholders and partners to develop a wider perspective, take an Outside-In view of the problems and create a vision, strategy, and roadmap of how software can solve immediate needs/wants, setting the stage for the right disruptions/innovations of the future.
Responsibilities :
- Drive the product charter with the gamut of the business, responsible for identifying the user needs, defining product constructs and user journeys.
- Design and own Product Roadmap. Ensure constant execution of the product life-cycle and on-time feature delivery.
- Write detailed specification documents consisting of user flow, logic, and corner cases.
- Feature prioritization, task breakdown, sprints, resource planning, estimating time.
- Partner with other stakeholders to drive and create the right product roadmap. Work with large ambiguous problem statements and break them down into meaningful problems to solve.
- Partner with product managers to conduct research, create business cases and translate them into meaningful problems to solve.
- Identify the right business and product metrics to be analyzed and tracked for every feature/problem statement.
- Constantly monitor and analyze metrics identified, publish insights/any anomalies along with hypotheses.
- Work with engineering/data platform teams on designing, building, and deploying data analysis systems for large data sets and extracting meaningful data for product teams.
- Recommend and create the right algorithms to extract information from large data sets.
- Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for model development, model validation, model implementation, and large-scale data analysis.
- Attention to detail is a must. The platform is numbers heavy and accuracy for the smallest of numbers is critical. You should be able to think through the smallest of cases to make sure nothing is missed.
Requirements :
- 1+ years of relevant experience as a product manager in a B2C product startup that has scaled.
- Should have a good academic background preferably MBA or equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience in project management, release planning, and delivering projects in a timeline through sprints, scrums, agile methodologies, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, strong communication skills with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data, and industry trend.
- Strong technical abilities Wireframing and working closely with engineering and UI/UX teams.
- Ability to thrive in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment.
- Ready to roll up sleeves to spend time designing UI, analyzing data, setting up quality processes and guardrails, jumping into the business analysis as required.
- Extensive experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches.
- Expert at data visualization and presentation.
