Kuliza is looking for a leader for our 'Product Management' practice. If the following sounds like you, and you are excited by the opportunity to lead projects and implementations in Enterprise FinTech, this role could be for you!
Roles & Responsibilities
- The - Head of Product Management - is a critical role at Kuliza for strengthening & growing our FinTech offerings & product development. It includes owning product development & implementation for large enterprise customers in India, as well as working with smaller companies & high growth startups globally for their custom product development. It also includes utilizing Kuliza existing IP and also grow our IP portfolio across implementations.
- You will lead Kuliza's 'Product Management- team while working closely with stakeholders, various client teams, internal engineering and QA teams, external implementation partners and other third-party teams, to deliver successful solutions and delight our clients while keeping in mind their go to market goals.
- To be successful, you must be able to quickly establish a sense of continued team spirit and oneness amongst your teams, credibility, and trust throughout the organization at all levels, be viewed as a team player. You should be able to juggle different existing projects at the same time, while helping take on new ones. You must be able to quickly instill in clients a sense of confidence in yours and Kuliza's abilities, and be viewed as the person who can get things done.
- You will need to employ an entrepreneurial mindset and leverage a broad array of analytical, interpersonal and leadership skills to identify, prioritize, and execute to bring success to yourself, your teams and to Kuliza and its clients.
Must Have :
- Must be an excellent Product Manager at the core, with the ability to lead the product team and come up with elegant solutions to complex business problems
- First-hand experience with product documentation and roadmap planning, and ability to instil the same in your teams
- Leadership & Management Experience: ability to manage diverse, cross-functional teams to achieve required outcomes
- Sharp and analytical thinking: ability to grasp customer requirements, conceptualize solutions and present ideas
- Ability to work directly with stakeholders and client teams, and build world class products for them
- Cross-functional skills & understanding: first-hand experience with Requirement gathering and Software Development, and having worked closely with Product Support
- Ability to educate clients as well as internal teams regarding the processes that the company follows during the course of the product development and why, including benefits of each stage of the product development cycle
- Thoroughness and attention to detail with a techno-functional bent of mind, and problem solver attitude
- User Experience: strong understanding of user experience and the ability to design customer centric products while fulfilling all functional requirements, and inculcating the same in your teams
- Technical understanding: Working knowledge of web and mobile app technology, and good understanding & appreciation of technology stacks, architecture, APIs, scalable product design and infrastructure
- Proactive in your ability to define, set and execute process frameworks to optimize functioning of your teams, and contribute towards improving existing approaches
- First-hand experience of conducting requirement gathering & discovery workshops, and product demonstrations
- Ability to handle feedback & criticism from clients in a mature and constructive manner, and the ability push back where needed, as well as to discuss potential solutions, workarounds and quick wins to arrive at an agreement with client.
- You should be able to motivate your team to take the necessary action while keeping the big picture in mind even in high pressure scenarios
- Agile: strong understanding of the key roles in an Agile development environment with the ability to coach/mentor these roles where required
- Strong project management, communication and presentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills: ability to prepare and eventually deliver presentations to audiences, demonstrating knowledge of requirements, domain and technology, and solutions
- Participate in steering committee meetings and handle client escalations as needed
- Grow & mentor the Product team
- Commercial Acumen: understands that Kuliza's commercial outcomes need to be met and actively supports Sales, PMs, Engineering Managers, etc. to achieve such outcomes
Drive: an individual who leads by example, and understands how to motivate people to achieve success. Ability to roll up your sleeves and dive in when needed
Good To Have -
- Previous entrepreneurial experience of having the responsibility of running the entire show
- Experience with FinTech domain
- Exposure to sales & marketing
- Experience with building and delivering SaaS products
- Experience with building and delivering mobile app products
- Exposure to Django Python tech stack, and AWS
- Experience in a Business Consulting or Business Analyst role (client facing roles)
- MBA is a plus
