Kuliza - Functional Consultant - Lend.in

A Functional Consultant will help Kuliza's clients design the best-in-class loan journeys and solutions based on their business requirements. They will be responsible for owning the business requirement gathering and business solutioning across lending implementations.

They will lead customer conversations and act as a bridge between the customer and Kuliza's Project Management team and help the client configure their loan products on Kuliza's Lend.In Platform and consult them in achieving the best solutions for building new age lending systems and workflows.

Additionally, the candidate needs to work on all aspects of project delivery engaging a complex stakeholder group across multiple global regions/product lines to execute global change programs in the lending domain.

The role will report to the Head of Product Solutions & Consulting practice.

Base Location : Bangalore, with all candidates undergoing a rigorous training program in Bangalore. The role will require extensive travel to client locations within India and outside India.

Due to COVID restrictions & considering the overall health of our employees & their families, the role would require work-from-home, until such time when the restrictions are lifted off.

Responsibilities :

1. Understand Lend.in product and its capabilities

2. Understand client's requirements and provide solutions using the product.

3. Work with cross functional teams from product management, Tech Leads, QA, Design and customers

4. Challenge traditional approaches of lending and come up with innovative solutions to problems

5. Lead client and internal discussion and be accountable for consulting deliverables

6. Provide functional and domain leadership and prove to be a role model for other team members

7. Coach and mentor other Junior consultants

8. Travel to customer locations and might need to work onsite in India and outside India

9. Owns the functional delivery of project such as solutioning documents

Must Have Qualification :

1. Strong understanding of the Lending domain, across multiple credit products like term loans (Education, Business, Personal, Home, Auto, Supply-chain, etc.), pay-day loans, Buy-Now-Pay-Later, etc.

2. End-to-end hands-on experience with at least one of following lending systems: Loan Origination (LOS), Loan Management), Collections.

3. Engineering from a premier institute

4. 4+ years of experience in fintech or building technology systems for banks out of which at least 2 years have been spent in client facing roles

5. MBA freshers with 2+ years experience of building technology systems for banks are also suited for this role

6. Strong understanding of micro-services architectures - web applications & related protocols for service consumption (API - Rest, SOAP)

7. Strong communication and analytical skills with experience in client facing roles

8. Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment where processes are still being established. Ownership and capability to work independently - are must have qualities for this role

Good to have Qualification :

1. Prior experience of using Business Process Model & Notation (BPMN) and Case Management Model & Notation (CMMN)

2. Experience on building complex and core financial enterprise software
