Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Purchase raw materials to match mill's production

- Responsible for buying - Veneer chips, Wood logs (Eucalyptus / Popular / Casuarina etc.) and Bamboo from Plant catchment area and Outstation Markets

- Forecast procurement needs for production

- Developing new markets to help secure firms wood supplies

- Purchase raw materials at market price (sealed bids, negotiation)

- Maintain current supplier base and establish new raw material suppliers

- Adjust raw material flow to match production site

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

- Master's degree in Forestry, Business or a related filed

- Preferred degree from Indian Institute of Forest Management - IIFM

PREFERRED SKILLS

- Excellent verbal & written communication skills

- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with internal & external stakeholders

Salary offered 12-15LPA
