Job Description :
1) Sales Analytics for a FMCG company in food and beverage space of 500 crores +.
2) Worked on sales budget analytics (revenue) as well as rationalization of spends (cost optimization of schemes)
3) Worked & managed large sets of data across multiple datasets, cleaning data and make ready for analysis, including data collation from various sources.
4) Advanced Excel skills- pivot, and data rationalization skills
5) Good Power point skills.
6) Excellent data interpretation and data analytics, trend-forecasting abilities.
Job Responsibilities :
Sales Analytics :
- Perform insightful analysis of sales performance of brands (own and competitors) to highlight key performance/ issues across area/geographies and facilitate strategic initiatives for improvement.
- Analyzing industry growth trends vis-a-vis own brands and competitors on monthly basis, Identify gaps and present it to sales team & management for corrective action.
- Support sales teams with customized data queries, analysis and reports catering to specific business needs.
- Pricing analysis within brands, packs and segments to suggest a competitive price for old/ new brands.
- Channel Wise, Account wise & Outlet Wise sales analysis both in terms volume & value for past period and compare the same with current trends & identify areas that need focus by the sales team.
- Support management team and the Heads of Department with data-driven analysis.
Monthly/Quarterly Sales Review :
- Report on budget achievement, growth (volume and value) for the month and year till date
- Consolidate, analyze & present monthly sales data (both primary & secondary) for each distributor in designed template and creating Deck out of it for review with distributor and management.
- Consolidate, analyze & present quarterly sales data (both primary & secondary) for each distributor in designed template and creating Deck out of it for review with distributor and management.
- Executive summary / MOM highlighting- challenges and mitigation plan, market summary on what worked well/ what can work better vis a vis action points, issues performance achievements
- Share monthly and quarterly sales MIS to management.
SN&OP :
- Drive monthly S&OP process with Distributors and share the same with management. The process would include obtaining secondary sales & primary sales data, opening stock, damages etc data and putting them across to share stock position with Distributor.
- Ensure Distributor has right stock availability considering the monthly run rate & budget and in case of disconnect, highlight the issue to sales team & management.
