Job Title : Audit Team Leader

Department Description:

A fast growing team that is servicing KPMG’s European audit clients and few other countries. The majority of our work is for the UK audit practice, but we are also serving KPMG - Holland, Cayman Island, Channel Island and Bermuda. We are looking at ways of growing the number of countries we serve. We are currently about 300 in size and aim to be 400 + strong team in six months.

Detailed Description:

- Lead and manage a team of up to people comprising of fresh graduates and experienced professionals.

- Responsible for monitoring work, managing and motivating the team to ensure deliverable meet necessary quality standards and agreed SLA’s.

- Sharing knowledge, mentoring and coaching the team members.

- Identification of issues/missing information and managing & tracking the open issues until resolved.

- Responsible to maintain the data confidentiality and adherence to the risk management policy by the team members.

- Responsible for performance review of the team.

- Responsible for the review of the team’s work and to provide timely feedback to team members to enable them to improve their performance.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelors Degree in Commerce (Hon) / Degree or Diploma in Finance or Accounting

- Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (e.g. ICAI or ACCA) with one to four years experience

- Language skills: English (proficient). Other global language capabilities will be an added advantage

- Intermediate level in MicroSoft Word and MicroSoft Excel (and Adobe Professional would be useful)

- Proficient book-keeping knowledge and experience

- Experience in external/internal audit & knowledge of UK/US GAAP, IFRS would be an added advantage.
