KPMG - Senior Consultant

Skills Required:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to build complex financial models and business cases

- Experience of executing projects in the area of feasibility studies, traffic studies, strategic plans, PPP models for infrastructure, transaction and bid advisory, logistics network design and implementation, efficiency improvement and business transformation

- Relevant knowledge of logistics, transportation, and infrastructure sector

- Strong presentation skills, both oral and written, to clearly communicate solutions and recommendations to the client

- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with senior clients (CXO level)

- Collaborative workstyle and ability to work in a team

- Ability to multi-task and work within demanding timelines

Responsibilities:

- Identifying client business challenge and needs by supplementing the standard evaluation techniques and tools. Develop and apply frameworks and project structures to provide best solutions to the client challenges.

- Leverage past experience and deep sectoral expertise to develop innovative, technically sound, practical and implementable solutions for client problems.

- Individually lead small engagements for project delivery or components of large complex engagements

- Work with the team and support manager with project management and coordination with internal and external stakeholders etc.

- Effectively engage with client counterpart in discussions related to the project delivery and provide new perspectives / insights

- Participate in opportunity identification, designing proposals and presentation for large managed services pursuits

- Assist in and contribute to various firm level initiatives, including business development, development of tools and methodologies, thought leadership materials and points of view

- Ideally should possess 2-4 years of experience of working with consulting firms in the similar role. Candidates from relevant industry may also apply if working in strategic/ BD/ EA role and have demonstrated deep analytical skills

- Willing to travel extensively and work on site with the clients.
