M&A Consulting practice is a part of Deal Advisory, advising clients identify, plan and unlock value through the deal lifecycle. Pre-deal, we advise clients assess the market & competitive landscape, and identify value creation opportunities, which underpins the deal rationale. Post deal, we assist clients take control of the acquired operations, develop combined target operating model and extract value. Given the additional focus on creating Value through deals, we intend to expand our dedicated team ('Deal Value Creation') to support our Private Equity & Corporate clients generate sustainable value in their transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Working in our multi-disciplined teams, you will apply your talents to a wide variety of complex, demanding and high-profile transactions from acquisitions and mergers to buy-outs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare financial & and operational analyses often as part of multi-disciplinary, integrated due diligence teams
- Analyze and evaluate value drivers as part of transaction engagements
- Identify value creation potential and implement corresponding measures together with Private Equity Investors and Management Teams of their portfolio companies, e.g., restructuring of business models & operating model, revenue growth levers cost optimization measures, optimization of cash positions as well as purchasing and supply chain
- Ability to deliver strong value through a mix of multiple initiatives
- Manage projects, coordinate multiple advisory engagements, and motivate your team to work together on common challenges
- Promote the professional and personal development of your team members
- Assess and provide views on add-on acquisitions and carve-outs in portfolio companies
- To contribute to practice development initiative, if possible - sales, people, solution development etc.
Key Skills:
- At least 3+ years of professional experience in Strategy / Business Consulting / Transactions with a focus on performance improvement and value creation, transactions, and re-structuring
- Strong academic background; CA or MBA degree from premium institutes
