The Customer and Channel Consulting team is looking to hire a Consultant/ Senior Consultant / Manager in the Consumer Markets domain, with experience in / Large FMCG/ Retail companies in the areas of Growth Strategy, Customer Strategy, Sales Effectiveness, Channel and distribution management . The individual will require to:
- Deliver Sales and Channel transformation program / projects as per defined timelines
- Drive the solution thinking within the project team with minimal assistance from the Project Director
- Manage client stakeholders in complex and intense consulting assignments
- Drive Knowledge Management ; mentor & develop young consultants
- Drive project P&L by monitoring billing, fee collection, controlling project expenses etc.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED
The individual should have had work experience in:
- Driving Sales, Channel and distribution management team in Large FMCG/ Retail companies
- Key focus on Sales expansion, new opportunities identification and realisation (new channels - Modern trade, E-commerce, products, markets), Operating model design, channel design and implementation, tactical strategies for sales enhancement
- Strong problem solving skills and implementation focus
- Experience of large business change projects and working with cross-functional teams in a project environment.
- Creative, innovative and a team player.
- Project management - managing team sizes of 3-4 people
- Delivering end to end consulting - design to implementation for clients
- A working knowledge of quantitative analysis techniques using excel / pivots and any other analytical tool software
- Good communication skills and presentation skills. Easy orator and ability to develop and translate the consulting view point to the client senior stakeholders
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED
- Experience as per below, with excellent understanding of business transformation on the Growth Strategy, Sales and go to market implementation
- Consultant - 4-6 years
- Scon - 6-8 years
- Manager - 8-10 years
- Pure Consulting or Sales Strategy Experience with consulting firms or large brands (FMCG, Fashion/Retail etc)
- MBA from a top-tier business school
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
- Strong project planning and leadership
