Roles and responsibilities
We are recruiting for a Consultant in the Infrastructure Modelling team.
- Ensure QA of outputs to the client while adequately undertaking project management, client management and team management
- Co-ordinate with onsite engagement teams to ensure high quality, on-time delivery
- Ensure the consistency of client models with project documentation and data books;
- Interact directly with clients (and other internal and external stakeholders) to obtain relevant data and other documents
- Assess data accuracy and reasonableness and follow-up directly with clients to gain necessary understanding and to resolve anomalies
- Interface with senior executives of clients and target companies
- Proactively set-up and lead meetings / phone calls with the stakeholders for obtaining clarifications, resolving issues, communicating progress and post-delivery de-brief and feedback
- Document model issues for inclusion in review reports and liaising with the project manager to fully explain the points raised;
- Review and commenting on revised models received from clients to verify whether review comments have been acted upon;
- Support the specification / design of models and analysis tools;
- Develop models (incl. integrated P&L, Cash flow and Balance sheet models) from scratch;
- Amend models developed by KPMG staff or by third parties;
- Carry out analysis of the outputs of models;
- Document the operation of models and the findings from our work; and
- Carry out testing of models as per KPMG quality control procedures.
Education / professional qualifications
MBA / PGDBM / CFA
Prior Experience:
3-5 years relevant experience in Financial Modelling having good exposure in infrastructure sector. Relevant experience in Infrastructure modelling on PFI/PPP transactions.

- Good working knowledge of accounting, financial statements, and financial analysis, in particular financial evaluation methods (NPV and IRR);
- Strong problem solving skills; Knowledge of MS Excel
- A commercial outlook and a good understanding of the general business and economic environment.
- Ability to build effective networks internally and externally
- Experience of working with clients / teams outside India
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with multiple stakeholders
