KPMG - AML Consultant

We are looking for proactive individuals with 2 to 6 years of experience in banking and financial institutions or related industries such as technology companies has excellent communication skills with consultative approach catering to financial institutions. Candidates to have experience preferably in audit, compliance, branch banking and/or related technology functions. Resources with client management skills, sales cycle experience and techno-functional experience would be preferred. In order to be considered for the role, you must clearly be able to demonstrate the following:

- Candidates with Master's degree in finance, law or accountancy would be preferred.

- Certifications in financial crime domain would be welcome (ACAMS, ICA, ACFE)

- Held a role in the FS industry or technology companies catering to FS industry as part of the consulting, pre-sales or sales function.

- Good understanding of compliance environment in Financial Industry and market practices in India, UK, US and ASPAC for financial crime related areas.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, team attitude and client focus

- A self-starter approach, keen to learn and build expertise

- Fluency in English. Any other language is considered an asset

- Be able to work independently

Role:

- Execution on client engagement - Ensure quality delivery as per client requirements

- Understand business & industry issues / trends. Identify areas requiring improvement in the client's business processes to enable preparation of recommendations

- Ensure compliance with engagement plans and internal quality & risk management procedures.

- Demonstrate an application & solution-based approach to problem solving techniques

- Manage the engagement budgets and support superiors in developing marketing collaterals, business proposals and new solution / methodology development.

- Develop strong working relationships with client (process owner/functional heads).

- Attention to detail and mentor young interns and analysts within the practice.

- Contribute to knowledge management sessions within the practice.
