Role Overview:
The Project Manager (Civil Engineering) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion. They will lead a multidisciplinary team, manage resources, and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, supervisors, and contractors.
- Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Coordinate with QS Engineers and MEP Engineers to manage project costs and variations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Interface with clients, consultants, and authorities to provide project updates and address concerns.
- Oversee procurement activities, including the selection of suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:-
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. MBA or PMP certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in civil engineering project management, with a focus on construction.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of construction management best practices and industry standards.
