Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring integrity and completeness of financial records, including transaction processing, reconciliations and operation of accounting processes and policies of AIFs (including GIFT Funds);
- Calculating, reviewing and reporting NAV at required intervals;
- Overseeing Managing daily operations of domestic AIF Funds according to the Fund Documents;
- Responsible for the MIS management for financial performance;
- Responsible for compliance management - Income Tax, GST, SEBI, RBI and other AIF related compliances - Handling monthly statutory payments including TDS, GST, Professional tax, etc.;
- Lead statutory and other regulatory audit processes (including inspection from regulatory body) and ensure seamless closure within the timelines;
- Ensuring investor reporting within the timeframe agreed in the documents;
- Stakeholder management (auditors, trustees, bankers and other stakeholders) on a timely basis;
- Assist in the valuation exercise of the Fund portfolio companies;
- Assist in any strategic matters across entities;
- Keeping abreast with the changing regulations and analyzing its impact on the existing operations;
- Assisting legal team in Fund documentation;
- Assisting deal teams in calculation of returns on portfolio investment.
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant with relevant experience of 8 - 12 years;
- Relevant experience of working with in-house accounts / operations division of AIF / FPI / Mutual Funds or fund administrators;
Other Skills
