Kotak - Deputy Manager - Actuarial

Role:

- A varied role within the Actuarial department focusing mainly on statutory valuation and financial reporting (EV, VNB) responsibilities.

- Help improve valuation methodologies and implement new processes and methodologies as required in the areas of ALM, economic capital and FCR.

- Maintain and develop PROPHET actuarial models for various purposes such as analyzing new business, analysis of surplus etc.

Experience:

- 01-03 years in the Actuarial department of a life insurer in the valuation team with essential knowledge of the following:

- Statutory valuation

- Preparation of annual actuarial submissions (Appointed Actuary’s report and abstract)

- Conceptual and computational knowledge of VNB and EV

- Professional qualification: 4-6 actuarial exams from IAI

Skills required:

Essential: PROPHET and DCS user level, Access, Excel and VBA

Desirable: SQL skills

Other skills:

- Good interpersonal and communication skills

- Analytical and computational skills
