Kora - Market Analyst - Research & Insights

- We are currently looking for a Market Analyst with 2-4 years of consulting/research experience who can help us with business and market research for our ongoing projects.

- Our approach is multi-year investing with detailed work in the ecosystem where we try to understand our investments from the bottom up by meeting with companies, their competitors, suppliers, distributors, customers, regulators, substitutes etc.

- our strong belief is that this ecosystem can only be developed and maintained by being local and accordingly we are looking for a candidate to join us to help facilitate this work.

- The job is largely self-directed and focused around a few thematic clusters - e.g., connectivity (includes TV, cable, content, Internet, telecom and telecom equipment), niche financials, emerging internet, consumer (retail and brands) and industrials.

- Candidate will be assigned projects in one or more of these clusters with the idea being that she can develop an understanding of the business, and lead independent research on these sectors.
