About the Role :
- Category Manager at Konnect Box is the centre point for business, the complete ownership of the category lies with the category manager from top-line to customer acquisition to PnL and growth.
- Category Manager at Konnect Box is responsible for:
- Complete ownership of Top-line, PnL and growth of the category.
- Set up the customer sales team, assign target and monitor performance.
- Acquiring the best assortment on the platform for his/her category, keep analysing market trends and set up targets for the BD team to fill the assortment gaps.
- Customer Acquisition through the Growth team, defining the customer acquisition pace as per the category growth targets.
- Own the marketing strategy for the category to increase sales and participate in the central promotional events.
- Negotiate the best rates for the category's assortment to give our customers the lowest prices.
- Maintain the margin of the category as per guidelines.
What are we looking for in the ideal candidate :
- He/she is obsessed for customer experience and want to be a part of something never tried before.
- 3-4 years of experience of managing a category with a ecommerce platform, B2B sales for international customers.
- Graduation or Post-Graduation from Tier 1 Education Institute.
- Team Management Experience, can drive sales and give clear KPIs to drive targets.
- Startup experience and can step into multiple roles to give customer the best experience.
- Ability to analyse and drive insights from the data and build strategies to solve problems if any.
