KnowDis - Senior Data Scientist - PhD

As a senior data scientist, you should be passionate about natural language processing, computer vision, statistical sampling and analytical methods. You will be creating and deploying large scale machine learning models. You will collaborate with engineers, fellow data scientists, and data engineers to develop tools, platforms, and infrastructure that accelerates the innovation of the entire organization. To do this job successfully, you need exceptional skills in statistics and programming.

Job Responsibilities:

1) Architect and build large-scale machine learning infrastructure for prototyping, and production.

2) Develop machine learning applications according to requirements

3) Write production code and data pipelines and conduct code reviews.

4) Design innovative solutions by choosing the right algorithms, features, and hyperparameters

5) Run machine learning tests and experiments

6) Perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results

Requirements for the Job:

1) Bachelor- s/Master's/PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent field and must have a minimum of 4 years of overall experience

2) Minimum 2 year of experience working as a Data Scientist in deploying ML at scale in production

3) Experience in machine learning techniques (e.g. NLP, Computer Vision, BERT, LSTM etc..) and frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.)

4) Working knowledge in deployment of Python systems (using Flask, Tensorflow Serving)

5) Previous experience in following areas will be preferred:

- Natural Language Processing(NLP) - Using LSTM and BERT; chatbots or dialogue systems, machine translation, comprehension of text, text summarization.

- Computer Vision - Deep Neural Networks/CNNs for object detection and image classification, transfer learning pipeline and object detection/instance segmentation (Mask R-CNN, Yolo, SSD).
