Job Summary:
- The Programmatic Performance Strategist is responsible for developing and executing strategies to optimize programmatic advertising campaigns.
- They utilize their expertise in programmatic advertising platforms and data analysis to drive performance, increase ROI, and improve campaign efficiency.
- The Programmatic Performance Strategist stays updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure the success of programmatic campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Develop programmatic advertising strategies aligned with business goals, target audience, and campaign objectives.
- Campaign Planning and Execution: Collaborate with internal teams to define campaign requirements, set up programmatic campaigns, and ensure smooth execution.
- Data Analysis: Analyze campaign data and performance metrics to identify trends, insights, and areas for optimization.
- Utilize data to make informed decisions and enhance campaign performance.
- Optimization and Targeting: Continuously monitor and optimize programmatic campaigns to improve performance indicators, such as click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and cost per acquisition (CPA).
- Audience Segmentation: Utilize data-driven insights to segment audiences effectively and target specific user groups with tailored messaging and creative assets.
- Ad Creative and Messaging: Work closely with the creative team to develop impactful ad creative and compelling messaging that resonates with the target audience.
- Budget Management: Manage programmatic advertising budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve optimal results.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with programmatic partners, demand-side platforms (DSPs), and data providers to leverage their capabilities, negotiate deals, and stay updated on platform enhancements and new offerings.
- Testing and Experimentation: Design and implement A/B tests and experiments to evaluate different ad variations, targeting strategies, and optimization techniques.
- Implement learnings to enhance campaign performance.
- Reporting and Insights: Generate regular reports and dashboards to track campaign performance, present key findings to stakeholders, and provide actionable insights for future optimizations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field with 1-8 years of industry experince.
- Proven experience in programmatic advertising and managing programmatic campaigns across various platforms (e.g., DSPs, Google Display Network, social media platforms).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Proficiency in programmatic advertising platforms and tools, such as DSPs, DMPs, ad servers, and data analytics platforms.
- Deep understanding of programmatic advertising ecosystem, including audience targeting, ad exchanges, real-time bidding (RTB), and ad verification.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with ad creative best practices, messaging strategies, and user experience (UX) considerations in programmatic advertising.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Stay updated with industry trends, programmatic innovations, and emerging technologies to leverage new opportunities for campaign optimization.
