Manager/ Principal - Fund Raising

Role:

We are looking for a zealous individual with strong financial sense to be the one of the earliest members of the team that will work on Aceler8 - a one-of-its-kind, Category II AIF debt fund launched by Klub.

Responsibilities:

- Be responsible for capital raising for Aceler8 and Klub both in India and overseas markets

- Develop and deliver a comprehensive and coherent fundraising strategy ; both domestic and international (specifically international)

- Produce high quality fundraising collateral (decks, pitch books and financial models) to effectively scale LP relationships

- Set and achieve realistic time-limited fundraising targets, agreed in consultation with the Co-founders

- Create and execute a multi-platform thought leadership on the alternative investment space to market Aceler8 and Klub's RBF offering to Institutional investors both in India and abroad

- Opening and nurturing relationships with institutional investors for specific credit strategies

- Manage end-to-end Investor Relations and Reporting functions for the fund

Requirements:

- MBA or equivalent degree from an tier 1 university and at least 4 years of work experience

- Significant experience in the Fund-raising for funds(preferably Credit funds), private banking, wealth management, fund placement agencies, etc.,

- Comprehensive knowledge about debt products

- A track record of having raised international capital for funds in India

- Deep network in the founder, VC, and angel investor ecosystems

- Liaison with VCs/Large Institutions/Investment Bankers/Private Investors/Family Offices/HNIs to raise funds

- Comfortable with international travel

- Excellent analytical and communication skills and high degree of attention to detail

- Accomplished and structured problem-solver

- Independent and proactive with a focus on execution and results orientation

- Comfortable with ambiguity, quick changes, tight deadlines and moving targets
