About Klub :
- At Klub, we are focused on building a Revenue Based Financing (RBF) marketplace by providing growth capital to loved online consumer brands and D2C brands.
- We have successfully made 125+ investments in brands across sectors like fashion, beauty & personal care, FMCG, Ed-Tech, F&B, and subscription businesses since August 2020.
What is RBF :
- RBF takes a revenue share as returns instead of equity dilution or fixed EMIs, making it ideal for a post-Covid financing ecosystem. This is flexible and revolutionary, and we are looking for enthusiastic and talented folks to help us democratize access to financing for all companies!
- Our Founders are Anurakt Jain (13 yrs exp, VC at DFJ and Vertex, corporate intrapreneur at InMobi; IIT-D, Wharton, CFA) & Ishita Verma (11 yrs exp in i-banking/investing at Kotak, Unitus Capital, Snyder UAE; LSR, IIM-B)
- We are funded by Surge (Sequoia Capital's early-stage investment program) and marquee angels like Naveen Tewari (Founder, InMobi), Kunal Shah (Founder, CRED), Shradha Sharma (Founder, YourStory), and many more. We raised a $2 mn pre-seed round and are scaling fast!
Role :
- As the head of banking partnerships, you will be responsible for building and deepening our supply side relationships with banks and NBFCs.
- As a company building innovative Revenue Based Financing products, Klub needs to work with multiple teams of our banking partners in order to launch a pilot and then scale up business. These include risk, compliance operations, product and business teams.
- This role involves ownership of the end to end relationship with our banking partners.
Responsibilities :
- Identify target cohort of banking relationships in sync with Klub business goals
- Establish relationships with target banks and onboard the relationship, This includes product, risk and commercial alignment along with ops and tech integration
- Maintain relationships with current and future partners. This includes effective troubleshooting of any issues that affect customer experience, risk alignment and cost and supply of capital
- Increase the supply of capital to Klub customers
- Decrease cost of capital to Klub customers
Requirements :
- At least 6 to 10 years of relevant experience with a bank / NBFC or a FinTech in a banking partner facing role
- An understanding of various aspects of loan products -risk, compliance, operations, etc, with experience in at least one of these
- A product mindset ; understanding of how processes can be digitised
- Proficiency with excel and PPT
- Good spoken and written communication skills
- Strong banking relationships will be an added bonus
